About Us
Celebrating Women in Every Story
Step into the world of Vixenne Magazine, where art and life intertwine through the voices of women. This space was created as a celebration of individuality, a collective that uplifts, excites, and cherishes the beauty of being many things all at once. Inspired by the belief that women are not defined by a single story, Vixenne is a community where passions, talents, and ambitions are shared boldly and unapologetically.
At the heart of Vixenne is the idea that women’s experiences—whether hilarious, heartbreaking, inspiring, or everyday ordinary—are worth telling. From the wisdom gained through mistakes to the pride felt in personal triumphs, our pages are filled with the raw, the real, and the remarkable. We believe in going beyond what one might expect from a women’s magazine, offering not only lifestyle recommendations but also meaningful conversations on politics, culture, and the nonprofits shaping our communities.
Our Story
Vixenne Magazine was born from my desire to honor the truth that women are not one-dimensional beings. Women are not only beautiful, but they're also brilliant, ambitious, humorous and courageous. I’ve always believed that women are made up of countless stories, passions, and perspectives, and I wanted to build a platform that celebrates that.
For me, storytelling is power. Growing up, I would watch a lot of TV and movies where I noticed that they always portrayed women as one thing. If she was a brainiac, she couldn't be pretty. If she was pretty, she couldn't be smart. If she was sporty, she couldn't also be girly. Then, I met a lot of amazing women in school, out fo school, and within my family. I saw how they're not being accurately portrayed and because of that people aren't paying enough attention to how amazing women are. They become surprised when they realize women are more than just one thing and then they use those infamous words that always make me roll my eyes, "Wow, you're not like all the other girls."
I want this magazine to satisfy all sides and interests and maybe even get you interested in something else you never thought about before. I want this magazine to feel like both a cozy conversation with friends and a source of thought-provoking ideas about the world we live in. I want writers to create blogs with their passions that people can relate to or feel seen with.
My hope is that what you find in this website and with us, makes you feel celebrated for every piece of who you are.
